First day of school.

Everett started preschool today. He was so excited to go, he got up at 7:30 am (this is very early for him) and came into our bedroom and said "It's time to get up dad." We got up and he had his favorite cereal (Apple Jacks) for breakfast. Then he showered and got all ready for school. I think he wandered around the house with his backpack on for at least an hour. I volunteered to stay in the classroom today and help out. I thought it would be a good idea to stay with Everett on his first day until he got to know the teachers and other students. He played really well with all of the kids and seemed to have a lot of fun. After school we came home and had lunch. Then Everett decided he was tired and laid down by daddy to take a nap. I can't believe my baby is going to school already.

Swimming

Everett and I try to go swimming at least a couple of times a week, and he has been getting a lot more confident the more we go. Last night he was jumping off the edge of the pool into the water and trying to float on his back. Then he decided to put his head under water.

Keeping friends and family updated.

My main purpose in this blog is to keep our friends and family up to date with what is going on in our lives. So to start off I am going to post a few pictures of Everett being silly. These pictures were taken last night but I wasn't able to post them until this morning because I had to charge the camera battery.
In this first picture Everett found one of my hair clips and decided he wanted to wear it.

Joining the world of Blogging

We are finally joining the blogging world. I am still trying to figure out how to get this all setup but I am sure once I get it figured out it will be a lot of fun.
